    forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-PCSX2-isn-t-loading-my-isos

I'm not sure what happened, but now when I try to load a game using (CDVD > Iso Selector> Browse) and then Boot CDVD (fast) I'm taken to the PS2 menu where you have the option to select Browser of System Configuration. I have all my ISOs in folders and they were working before but I'm not sure why they aren't anymore.

  5. Looking for: Rom/ISO compression guide/advise for PS2 games??

    forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Looking-for-Rom-ISO-compression-guide-advise-for-PS2-games

The compression ratio depends on the file. I think on average you save about 30% for PS2 ISO files, but it could be more or less. CSO compression ratios are similar to gzip. Whether it's worth it or not is up to you. If it saves 1-2G per ISO then it can save 100-200G for 100 ISOs.

  6. PSX Mode Unofficial Compatibility List - PCSX2 Forums

    forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-PSX-Mode-Unofficial-Compatibility-List

Only PS2 BIOSes from original fat PS2's will be able to run PSX games. Due to the IOP changes Sony made on the slims, they simply won't run PSX games in PCSX2 right now. Audio will always be pitch-shifted a half step up, due to a rather complicated problem with sample rates. Resolved as of 1.7.0-dev-324!

  8. 'Correct' way to make a PS2 disc image? - PCSX2 Forums

    forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Correct-way-to-make-a-PS2-disc-image

MDS/MDF is 100% copy (including copy protection data and so on),ISO can't save such thing but there is no such thing in PS2 games anyway. Quote: ISO - is a generic reliable image file format. It is pretty much useless when copy protection comes into the picture. MDF/MDS - Alcohol Softs own image format.

  9. When can I legally download a Game Rom/iso? - PCSX2 Forums

    forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-When-can-I-legally-download-a-Game-Rom-iso

Location: England. #4. 02-14-2014, 10:58 PM. as these guys have said, the only legal way to have an ISO of a game is to own it and make the ISO yourself from the original disc. Downloading it is still piracy as you are making a copy of somebody elses copy, it's as bad as taking an extra copy from a shop because you own it, it wouldn't be allowed.

  10. Games running in slow motion - PCSX2 Forums

    forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Games-running-in-slow-motion--60369

Speedhack level 6 will turn VU cycle stealing up to level 2, which from my experience only causes more harm than good. It seems to sometimes make games run like this, where audio and the emulator's reported framerate are full speed, but under the hood processing is much slower.

  11. My PCSX2 still won't find my iso file please help - PCSX2 Forums

    forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-My-PCSX2-still-won-t-find-my-iso-file-please-help

Once you have it, you'll be able to run the ISO (the actual game). But is preferable you run the ISO directly instead using a plugin (and virtual driver). It's enough "Iso" is chosen (instead "Plugin") and then navigate to the folder the ISO is. Once it is selected, go to System and from there Boot CDVD (Fast).
