KMOV layoffs include longtime news anchor Steve Savard. Man, after working in one place for 26 years, how do you even begin to write a resume and start job hunting? I would assume he’s got some cabbage in the bank, and hope the man can just retire, but I don’t his financial situation.
That was a thought that I had too -- as there is a lot of 'red' in Fox News' look though even there, it doesn't go quite that overboard. Or that it's a not-so-subtle nod to the possible political leanings of KMOV's parent company Grey which recently took over ownership of the station.

KMOV St. Louis ...Again. KMOV, channel 4 is messed up again. Same thing as last week. Just got off chat with them, 3:50 pm. The guy said the engineers are aware of the problem and working on it. Hopefully the fix doesn't take 18 hours this time. Posted 4:04pm St. Louis time.
But this OP reminded me of how KMOV has lost a couple of their on-screen personalities to traffic accidents over the years. The first was Steve Trenkmann who was killed in a horrible crash on I-40 way back in the early eighties. What made this one especially bad was the fact that two of his sons, both grade school age, died with him and that ...
KMOV, the same new source that reports any and all gun shots within 3 miles of downtown as "near Busch Stadium" This is actually a huge pet peeve of mine about local TV news in STL. If something happens south of Delmar, they'll generally give the neighborhood name- unless it's violence, then it's often "near" a landmark.
Solar flares. Same issue with streaming via Spectrum so fairly sure it is their signal having issues. I haven’t watched KMOV heavily this week but I turned on the end of great day St. Louis after seeing this thread and it seems fine as of now. I did have some issues with KSDK last week during Indy qualifying and that was rare for me.
KMOV Live feed in St Louis is not working. Tried it on 2 different tv’s and 2 different device apps. It’s stuck on the 400 pm news at the 4:26 mark on all devices. Problem with live appears to be youtube tv problem. The live feed works fine on Paramount+. Please fix Thank you
