On Windows I use this neat tool called Fan Control. You can set it to adjust fan speed based on different temperature sensors. For example, front fans react to HDD temperatures (I have a very warm HDD), and rear fan reacts to GPU temperature. You can use the BIOS to adjust CPU fan speeds, but if you need something specific like HDD or GPU ...
I can't seem to figure it out. I could do it in Argus Monitor but I'm not willing to pay 25 eur for a license that expires. Summarized: Create 1 linear fan curve for CPU Create 1 linear fan curve for GPU Create 1 mix fan curve combining the two, set function to Max. Base your exhaust fan on the mixed fan curve.

Also, SpeedFan support SOME of Alienware notebooks (f.e. m15R3-R4, but not R1-R2). PS: Please keep in mind - AWCC DOES NOT set RPMs directly. It just increase it above BIOS ...
In order to fix this, the application must be exited and launched again. How to reproduce the issue: Set both fan control and performance overlay to run at start via their applications. Reboot steam deck multiple times (for example 3-5 times). Check each boot that the applications started and are working as they should.
Anyone using TPFC update to Windows 11 yet? I suppressed intelligent cooling on my computer and I'm hoping that updating to Windows 11 won't break TPFC. Thanks! TPFanControl v0.63 works fine on my ThinkPad X230 under Windows 11. Does TPFC work on W10 on your P15? Me, t430 wirks good.
The "fan" section shows the RPM and the control section shows the Duty Cycle. Each fan is controlled by a specific control. Each fan/control combo corresponds to a single fan header. If you don't have a fan connected, the fan section will stay at 0RPM because nothing is being read on the RPM pin of the header, but you can change the duty cycle ...
