yes the Arctis 7 is amazing, mine broke after 3 years, I bought an Arctis 7+ for the USB c but it needs Sonar for the chatmix to work and it's trash, so I returned the 7+ and bought another Arctis 7. The Arctis 7 doesn't need Sonar for the chatmix to work correctly because it has 2 integrated sound cards which are controlled with the right ...
The device is clearly connected and Sonar shows that sound is coming through. In my computers sound settings in control panel it shows sound is coming through SteelSeries Sonar - Gaming but not the headset itself. I can still hear through the headset when I tur on mic playback or turn it on/off.
So one day all was groovy, but when I go on my ps4 the next day with my wireless Arctis 7 headphones the volume is suddenly much quieter despite having changed no settings. I tried everything, it was weird since the audio worked fine when wirelessly connected to my PC and also worked fine on ps4 when using the 3.5mm audio Jack connection cable.
The arctis 7+ was perfect BUT i REALLY want Bluetooth and 2.4ghz simultaneous use. I was considering the arctis 9 but i have read online that the 7+ has clear superior audio quality over the 9 and i do not want to compromise audio quality. I essentially want an arctis 7+ with Bluetooth dual connection AND a good mic.
If this happens to you, go into your audio control panel, playback devices, and find the Arctis 7 Game interface, and open its properties. Click the 'advanced' tab and take note of the "Default Format" drop down. Make sure this is set to "2 channel, 16 bit, 44100 Hz". On mine, windows was automatically setting this to "1 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz."
Yes it is the SteelSeries Arctis Pro GameDAC ParametricEQ.txt you need to use. It's been a while since I set this up so I totally forgot that I didn't actually download the file. I just created a new .txt file on my desktop and just copied and pasted the text from github into the new text file and then imported it.
My headphones were connected and working, but there was no output on Arctis 7 game mode. Chat mode was fine, but the audio quality is noticeably worse there. Eventually I just clicked through every possible option I could find, and in Windows 11 in the properties for that output mode there is "Enhance Audio" which was checked off.
When I turned my computer on I could hear myself through my headset and I have no clue why. I have the "listen to this device" checked off on my windows mic settings, and I have it off in the steelseries software.
I'm hoping you can help, I've been using the Arctis 7 for around a month no problem until a few days ago. Nay video (YouTube or games) /sound (Spotify) is causing mini stuttering. when I remove the USB and plug back it sometimes works again.
The microphone on my arctis 7's just randomly stopped working one day when I booted up my PC. The headset part works fine, I can hear everything it just will not work a microphone. I tried seeing if the mic broke by using it on another PC, but it worked just fine.
